Starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, the story follows Clementine, who decides to undergo a procedure to erase her memories of her boyfriend Joel after a particularly painful breakup. But when Joel decides to have the same procedure, the two slowly forget the love they once shared, even if they also manage to forget the pain too.

Nicholas Sparks fans, rejoice! The 2008 adaptation of Nights in Rodanthe starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane is coming to Netflix on August 1, and you’ll find as much solace in it as our two lovebirds do.

If you’re craving a historical twist on your romance movies this summer, you’re in luck, because medieval romantic adventure A Knight’s Tale, starring Heath Ledger, is coming to Netflix on August 1.

Based on Geoffrey Chaucer’s “The Knight’s Tale,” the film follows peasant William Thatcher, who must enter a jousting tournament to prove his worth and win over the heart of the fair maiden he’s been lusting after.
