I write at the intersection of race, gender, identity, and science fiction as the editor of Girls in Capes, an inclusive entertainment and geek culture website. Diversity and representation are two of my highest values, and I discuss representation at Girls in Capes and on my blog.

In other areas of the internet, I contribute to The Portalist and have clips at The Mary Sue and A Love So True. Offline, I do public speaking, event planning and programming, and freelance publicity & marketing work. You can find me hosting two book clubs each month in the Philadelphia area: the Girls in Capes Book Club at Main Point Books and the Amalgam Monthly Book Club at Amalgam Comics & Coffee.
