She's perhaps most well-known for her bestselling Dark-Hunter paranormal romance series, but Kenyon's knack for storytelling defies genre, blending fantasy, romance, horror, and historical fiction into one compelling brew.
For instance, her upcoming book Death Doesn't Bargain —the second title in her Deadman's Cross series—combines history, pirate lore, mythology, and inter-species romance to tell the story of a crew of supernatural scallywags.
In advance of the book's release, we spoke to Kenyon about her unique career and the inspirations behind her stories.
