Who doesn’t love animals? They make everything better, including romances. Of course, anyone who’s ever owned a rambunctious dog or sardonic cat knows that pets are often a fuzzy obstacle to success. How many times have you tripped over them or been forced to clean up some unexpected “gifts”? We’ve found eight romances with animal-loving protagonists that combine love, antics, and the wonders of the natural world. Well, that and hairballs!

Love in the Afternoon

When Beatrix learns of Pru's disappointment, she decides to help by concocting Pru's letters to Christopher for her. Soon the three-way correspondence leads to Beatrix falling for the soldier who wants someone else.
